KEELY SMITH Legendary jazz singer and wife of the late great LOUIS PRIMA and her daughter TONI PRIMA have become big fans of OO-BOP-SH'BAM since coming to see the band in Norway.
When they heard we were at the 100 club on Aug 30th and they were still in London they told us that "they just had to come as we were the best band they had seen and heard in a long long time, Louis would have loved you guys"
What an honour to have two such prestigious fans
They danced to us all night long, it was a great night.........
And DAVID GILMOUR ( Pink Floyd ) was at one of our recent gigs and spoke with us after saying
" You are an exellent band with exellent musicians"....

We have re - released our debute album on our own label called OOBOP RECORDS, JOHN WILMOTT former RENT PARTY and Tenor SAX player with The James Taylor Quartet will be playing with us on a regular basis from 25th of may, we are delighted to have him on board along side, ALBY GREEN and PHIL VEACOCK ( Jools Holland Band )
